A productive 2012

I saw a comment in Linkedin on Monday stating that, “today marks the official productive start of 2012.” It was the 9th of January. In a time of “crisis” we have already lost 8 productive days, according to this quote. Add to that another 101 weekend days. Plus bank holidays (from 8 to 14, depending in which country you live), plus 22 days holiday per person. If we assume that we “lose” a productive week at the start of the year, we probably lose a week at the end as well (another 5 days!). This equates to a minimum 144 non-productive days this year, and just 222 days to achieve our business objectives.
